This small cushion sander has a 3/32" shank and can be used in any of our Cordless Carving Tools (as well as other rotary tools).
Cut your sanding time in half or less! These sanders use cloth-backed sand-paper and give a super smooth finish. Intended for finish sanding - not designed as a carving tool. Supplied with 220 grit sandpaper, key and a sandpaper template. The sandpaper supplied is a bit stiffer than the recommended SIA sandpaper shown below.
To get the longest life from your cushion sander, use light pressure. Cushion sanders are not intended to remove lots of wood - they are more for smoothing and contour sanding. For convenience, we recommend having one sander on hand for each grit of paper you are using.
