With each depression this tip outlines a 3mm (0.1181" - more than 7/64") wide full scale with a deep curve. It actually pushes down the wood behind the scale, leaving a clean, raised scale of uniform size.
Heavy duty cord is recommended for all scale tips. Our brass brush is perfect for cleaning these tips.
